There are several things this could be - I am not sure the doctor’s has this right if they did not recommend you do anything about them? How long have you had them?
One thing it could be is Folliculitis or even Pseudo-folliculitis
Make sure NOT to share towels with anyone if you live in a shared house
Is it possible for you to see a Dermatologist?
Did the doctor suggest what precautions you take or any treatment to try … ?
