I have googled more these past two weeks than I ever have in my life. I have never been so convinced that my symptoms aren't anxiety. I have a doctors appointment on Friday to get my symptoms checked out just to reassure myself, and to talk about maybe getting some anxiety medication.
but in the mean time, I want to know what your anxiety symptoms are? I don't mean like panic attack symptoms, I mean the every day super common symptoms you have. Maybe it will start to calm me down and get me through until my doctor appointment
Omg where do I begin? I have random pains all of the time. Chest pain, stomach pain, breast pain, bad headaches, ear pain, back pain..... The problem is that if you have health anxiety you are super sensitive to pain. Therefore you are almost always looking for pain. Like feeling for bumps etc.... I have Googled so many things. One thing I can say is googling health anxiety helps. It not only lists symptoms, it talks about how people with health anxiety react to pain. I usually have panic attacks when I feel a pain or something abnormal. I don't have actual anxiety symptoms anymore.
I have anxiety symptoms every single day ,i have tingling /numb feet hand and face,i feel wierd and clumsy,i have tremors, shakes, jitters from the moment i wake up,my vision doesnt feel right,i have the classic lump in my throat, every new tingly/numb feeling sends me into panic!i have been checked out by neuro consultant and he says not ms which ive been convinced i have,i also get the head pressure thing and my ear feels fizxy, this is all day every day ,what are youre symptoms?x
I have anxiety symptoms every day too! I have chest/rib pain, back pain, headaches, my vision is weird sometimes, foggy hearing in my right ear, jaw pain, I just overall feel weird too usually... at the moment my chest feel kinda heavy/feels like there is something in it and it's making me cough... that happened for the first time two nights ago... freaks me outttt
Maybe I should look up health anxiety... because a lot of my symptoms are pain. Are you on medication or how do you deal with it?
I have been diagnosed with chronic health anxiety, mines a long story on the medication but now im on beta blockers twice a day and back on prozac after changing to mirtazapine for a few weeks which was the wrong move, google health anxiety it helped me a bitx

Sue is right. Everyone in this forum has been there with anxiety. We know how to help, we get what you are going through, and you will find a lot of comfort here.
Definitely look it up. It brings me comfort because then I realize how powerful anxiety is and how it can cause pain. I am prescribed xanax and propranalol. I probably spelled it wrong. Lol....
When I am in panic mode I take a xanax. Nine times out of 10 the pain subsides or goes away. That's how I know my anxiety is fueling the fire. In general everyone has aches and pains. It's just that people with health anxiety are so hyper focused on the pain that it can become more intense and last longer and lead to multiple symptons. I have struggled with anxiety for years. It took a long time for me to realize how powerful it is. Look up health anxiety. It's much better than looking up symptoms. Cancer always comes up which makes my anxiety much worse!
I get a whole host of physical symptoms, which I just can't seem to convince myself are anxiety related. I haven't yet got to the point where I'm prepared to believe the doctors, even though a small, rational part of my thinks they're probably right.
I don't really suffer from panic/anxiety attacks. I just have a near-constant rolling worry about every single little pain or feeling in my body, especially my heart and lungs. I get odd pains and constant tension in my chest, back and arms. I feel every heart beat. My neck pulse pounds whenever I exert myself past walking. I feel mildly breathless all the time, unless I'm totally at rest. I can't seem to fill my lungs. And I feel skipping heart beats occasionally.
This has been going on for about a year, and I'm not dead yet.
I hope you feel better
