Hey, so a recent ex of mine came back into town and we had sex on December 1st. Now she is telling me that she has hsv 2 in the genital area. This is after i showed her my results from Novemeber (all results were negative including IGG). I havent had an outbreak and she says she never had one either. I know i have to wait until 3+ months for another IGG. But what are the chances i have contracted it if i havent had an outbreak? what prodrome symptoms do you experience?
I have been having off and on itching/tingles like normal not extreme but i dont know if its just in my head or should i really be worried
until u get visable symptoms i would not worry how does she know she has it if shes never had any symptoms

she says the guy she was dating while she lived out of town told her he had it and her IGG came back positive.
if thats the case an her igg was positive then she has had it for a while if u get any symptoms u should go for testing usually they dont test unless visable symptoms ate present
