Could this be herpes syphilis another STD, or just from shaving? I am going to the doctor Thursday but until then did anyone ever have this. If it is not clear from the picture it is in between the connection of your thigh and your vagina in that crease on your groin. I do not have any other symptoms with it and if this was herpes this would have been my first outbreak are they usually more servere or painful. Only when I touch it it kind of hurts but not that much had no idea it was there and it just came out of nowhere on Friday I went to the doctor to see if these other bumps I was worried about were herpes they werent and this was not there, I think on Saturday I looked as well and I did not see any bumps from what I recall at least not this All of a sudden I looked last night and I saw it there. So either on Sunday but most def Monday this would of appeared since I saw it last night. This picture was taken this afternoon.

wait really!?? I convinced myself it is herpes, it only touches if i like scrap at it like a pimple would but other than that nothing and no itching around the area is that how they feel and look? I just got so scared cause it seems to be scarred over, like as if a blister popped there.

Put a flame under a needle to disinfect it , after the needle is cooled insert it under the semivisible hair inside the ingrown hair bubble , force it out and then pull it away with tweezers , the root should come out ,squeeze out the pus , disinfect with alcohol and apply a neosporin bandage , I've done it so many times I like to pull them out .
Sometimes they are very long hair
I just shaved friday night wouldn't the hair not even be that long from that time being.
Hi Michelle , an ingrown hair means the hair cannot break through the skin surface and therefore is growing under the skin in a roll , creating a small infection , you cannot shave that hair because it's under the skin.
so try to look into the ingrown hair bubble and you might see the hair inside , that's the one you have to force out with a needle. in that location it's hard to peek so ask your partner to do it.

Okay yeah it does not bother me at all, but I did not know if it was the start of something more serious though cause I cannot recall ever having one so I was not sure this could be it, but thank you for the reassuring comments and the help!
Sometimes the hair has been under the skin and ingrown a while, it probably didn’t show til now. I have no doubt it’s an ingrown hair. The hair doesn’t even have to be that long either. I have had ingrown hairs pop up and then this long azz hair comes out I’m like wtf! Lol I get them a lot
