I am curious what can a colonoscopy not detect regarding gut/bowel/intestine issues? Thanks

IBS stands for irritable bowel syndrome and a colonoscopy cannot detect that.

but a colonoscopy can rule out crohns, colitis? Whats a good test for IBS?
