Hi i had a 24hr ecg because i have been waking at night with palpitations and my results have come back saying ‘no significant Arrhythmias and that the tecordings were sinus rhythm.
Can anybody tell me whst this actually means please? I dont feel like i have an explication to my palpitations.

Sinus Rhythm means the normal regular rhythm of the heart.
Did you experience your palpitations during the time you were wearing the Holter monitor?
If you did experience them, then these will be the arrhythmia's that were not "significant", most arrhythmia's are indeed nothing to worry about although a little unpleasant.
If you did not experience your palpitations whilst wearing the monitor, then that would be a reason for then saying saying "no significant Arrhythmia's".
I had two years of investigation were their ECG machine failed to find anything wrong with me due to the fact the symptoms never occurred whilst wearing the monitor.
So I bought my own ECG machine so I could record whilst I was having the palpitations, the doctors then changed their attitude very quickly when they discovered I had a life threatening arrhythmia, Ventricular Tachycardia.
The only trouble with this approach is that even though your own investigations succeeded in saving your life whereas theirs failed, you will forever afterwards be branded as a hypochondriac because you investigated your own symptoms.

If they are not significant do you know why i might have them or how long they are likely to last?
