What does your anxiety say to you ?

Mine tells me I’m not liked, I’m not a good person and people talk about me behind my back, it makes me look for hidden messages, sniggers open rudeness. It tells me I’m not good enough.

When I’m nervous and anxious like in a meeting or before a meeting, I get hot cold I shiver, it quivers my voice. It makes me have diarrhoea and I go to the toilet endless times. I can’t eat when anxious and I then worry I will soil myself or my stomach will gurgle or I’ll do a massive fart in front of everyone. Writing this makes me see how irrational my thoughts can be.... what are your reoccurring thoughts when you are not well ? Ps I’ve just dropped in to an anxious state and hoping I’m on my way back up, first relapse since starting Sertraline 18 months ago xxxxx

Mine is constantly there but peaks when I get a feeling!!

The feeling could be an ear ache a stomach pain a simple cold my health anxiety sucks but went sky high almost 2 years ago after having a brain tumour removed.

My biggest fear became reality and even though it was rare but benign I had 6 days in hospital away from my husband and 6 year old I wasn’t sure what it was and had to stay in hospital. It was horrible but everyone’s anxiety is horrible and it doesn’t mattter what kind it is..

Remember Kerry u will have up and downs the drugs only soften or ease our anxiety

I find knowing it will always be there and excepting it’s here to stay Is easier then trying to say it’s gone or hiding it..

My anxiety blinds me to whats infront of me. I miss opportunities because im constantly worrying about getting sick of what im doing. I have a short attention span and end up just rethinking the same things over and over— how I am never going to be content in life, im always going to have this empty feeling in my chest.

Anxiety and depression also reminds me of when i was a child and i would go out in the country with my family and the vastness of the praries(i live in saskatchewan, canada)  would make me feel vulnerable and mortal.

Death to me was being alone in the country.
