I had a surgery to get rid of that black thing next to my nail and it is back again what is this exactly
I don’t see any particular black thing. I see that the edges are black. I had surgery on my toe a couple of months ago also. I had bruising under my nail bed that made the edges look black.
Also, if part of your nail was separated from the nail and is now dead, it will sometimes turn black.
