What extra pain relief can I take with MTX?

I only started on MTX last week so it hasn't kicked in yet, I had also had a steroid injection that I think has worn off! I work full time and currently having a flare up in my wrist a and knee! What pain relief shall I take? X

for or extra pain relief during a flare I always take paracetamol which seems to work ok for me.

Hi..im on 25mg of metho..and if I need extra relief I found Zapain is very good and also  diligence slow release.

I must say the metho is very effective.

Tylenol, Tramadol , asprin anti inflams r ok.biggrin

even s rub on like Voltarin , heat packs ice packs. Rest and if u ask the pharmacist he will direct u to several safe choices.

i hope UR better soon. Sometimes it's a waiting game other times just waiting .
