Hello,
I know some have so many medical issues and serious illnesses, we have to tolerate in our daily lives, it can become over whelming. Supporting others keeps our minds off our own pains, as it is important to be in touch with others to have a open heart and a open mind.
Our culture today is pretty much focused on the things that we can do on the imterept. We all communicate to many countries on this forum. The primary support team is representative of those who want to have relationships with others & to share their medical issues. Many find advice, learn and ask for help and receive good quality advice. In my experience on this forum so many genuinely care about others. Many of us are vulnerable to open up and to be honest in the best way we can to articulate our experiences to others. We always have the opportunity for making many genuine friendships.
Some of us have suffered thru rough childhoods, extreme or difficult lives and different health circumstances forming a kinship thru many commonalities with others here. This is a tremendous psychological fulfillment for many. I feel like I do know & support my friends, and I hope that they will always feel comfortable to discuss anything they need. Even if we don't always agree.
To find a secure place to feel well & happy, to share our pain & advice to feel safe & always feel welcome with no judgements.
I feel support and kindness on this site and lucky to know so many of you here, as you have taught me so much thru all UR helpful posts.
What we have been thru in the past is what made us who we are now. We are in the present and give today all we can. It is better to give than to receive. It makes me feel better when someone replies positive to my post.
Thank you for letting me be part of your time here.
We are one heartbeat, one universe, we all become a force together to help others.
Eckhart Tolle..."The power of Now" inspires me and helps me live in the moment. Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery and today is the future.
What helps you to be the best you can be or feel better when you are really in pain and suffering, or if fear & pain has taken over your day ?
