for a while it didnt hurt not one big now its tender as as ever i have pcos so im finally seeing the light with no blood but boom now this shows up it does hurt when i pee but more so hurts when i wipe i used a soft gauge yesterday to see if it would ease the pain of wiping which it did but i have to set an appointment any advice would be nice

i have hsv 2 and this is how my outbreaks start. those painful light spots then they open up to form an open sore. if yours breaks open i would def go get swabbed.

I was recently diagnosed with HSV2- genital herpes. Mine started off a similar way. I had a bump that popped and became a bigger sore. I thought it was an ingrown hair. Then within a few days after that, I had more little bumps on that same area. It was still swollen and painful. I had burning while peeing, pain, and discomfort. I went to the ER and the doctor diagnosed me. Unfortunately a guy I was seeing didn’t even know he had it. He’s never had any symptoms. One night of unprotected sex and BOOM life changed. I’m still going through my first outbreak which is the worst the doctor said. She also told me so many people, especially men, don’t know they have it. Condoms can protect against it unless there’s some shedding period and it’s where the condom isn’t protecting. Go get a vaginal exam and a blood test asap.
