Hello! I am a 25F. I had unprotected, vaginal sex 3 times last weekend with my ex. I later discovered that he'd been having regular sex with an HSV2+ partner for the past couple of months. The HSV2+ partner regularly takes her antiviral medication and did not have any outbreaks when they were together. He's never experienced symptoms but hasn't been tested for HSV2 either. I know it's possible to be an asymptomatic carrier of HSV2, so I was wondering what the relative risk of transmission is to me in this case? Should I get tested? Has anyone had similar experiences, and if so, were you infected?
