Hello I am 14 and I have descoverd I have a lump in my right Brest and it is very painful when I lift my arm and I have never had this before I have had my period for atlest 1 hole year and I know it is not that I told my mum and she I am just said i am growing but it has never accerd before and I don't know what to do pleas help me .
You might have breast cancer. Better to go now than later to get a lumpectomy when it could become malignant and you would need removal of 1 or 2 whole breasts.
You must see your doctor Amy. It is probably nothing but does need to be checked out. If your mum will not listen then please talk to another adult like your teacher or another female relative. Best wishes.
Well whenever I hear or read that somebody has a lump in their breast I always think of breast cancer and how it is better to get a lumpectomy early in the cancer than a single or double mastectomy when it has neared or is already malignant.
especially if later in your life when you have children you want to breastfeed.
