How long has this been for? Have you ever been xrayed for it? Have you had an MRI for it?
No never. I have been with some doctors. But they never asked for xrayed or MRI.
My story went to doctors.xray.told she couldn't see anything but arthritis Asked to see bone speciast .she wasn't happy.hospital consultant said he would have to ask patient questions to diagnose?.. offered injections didn't work.3 months later offered TKR had my right leg done. 6 months later still recovering but its gone the pain on walking ñow waiting to have the other knee done. MORAL of MY story be strong and insist ýou see a speciast or you will sue them NHS doctors are very good but they do have to keep to a budget and keep the numbers down good luck xxx
Thank you so much for sharing your experience Mary..<3

Does anyone believe some of these inquisitive posts are sounding similar? If it walks like a duck, it could be a duck? Thoughts oh oracle?
Quack...quack... People need a definitive diagnosis...even though sometimes they can't get one, they still have to see a specialist and get the studies done. Does anyone know how many hundreds of things can cause knee pain? I had four inconclusive MRIs and four resulting knee scopes. Doc would say: "I just have to go in and see what's going on." Two meniscus tears and two femoral condyles ripped off...nothing on the MRIs. If that's what it takes, you do it. But at least start with an ortho visit and an x-ray.
Agree totally. Just sayin' that some posts recently sound like they were very similar grammatically and otherwise. May not be a duck but sure sounds nightly like one. Maybe just my old paranoid head. Stay well.
Mighty ....not nightly....pleases Lord grant me patience over auto correct!
Ok, first step, ask them for an xray then.
Wondering exactly the same thing Lyn
Nup, no paranoia at all. I've seen the exact same thing.
Oh goodo, I was starting to think my medication needed tweaking! Joking! How exciting to have trolls on here. Breaks the monotony. I'm AWOL at present and both my knees are being very naughty. At 18 freaking months post op I thought it would be easier. Anyway, no whining, onwards and upwards. I am walking, swimming and life is so much better than before my TKR's. You doing ok?
