I've been having gallbladder issues on & off for the last 2 yrs after being pregnant with my daughter. For the last month or 2, I've had bad back pain, RUQ pain, sharp pains in right side under ribs. Along with that, I've had a feeling like something was under my skin in my back, on the right side of my spine. After multiple ER trips, last week, my gallbladder was removed. HIDA scan & surgery confirmed it wasn't working properly. Since the surgery, my back pain has still been terrible (I know some of that is probably from all the laying down), but it still feels like something is in my back. I feel like I'm going crazy. Has anyone else experienced this? When I told my dr about it before the surgery, she said how convinced she was that it was my gallbladder. But this feeling is still there. I don't even feel it all the time, but when I do, it drives me crazy. Any advice, help will be appreciated.
Gallbladder surgery can disturb the nerves in your abdomen and cause neualgic pain
Hi sorry to have to write this but yes it is all normal I had my gallbladder removed 3 -4 years ago now I was the same as u in and out of hospital like a headless chicken thy eventually removed it for me since then I have been getting severe pains in my back and in my right side where it was before the removal oh and found out thy can come back in ur bile duct I have been admitted to the hospital with these pains as thy were so severe it was like labour pains I have had every scan .xray MRI and every test possible I really thought I was losing my mind. In the end the hospital said it was coursed by the removal in simple the doctor said my body was upset because it had been removed and was fighting with its self I have to take loads of stomach tabs eg lansoprizole and buscapan x. But on the good side it could just be because ur body has not healed yet
