About 3 years ago I experienced extreme itching completely out of nowhere. It was in my buttock area under my vaginal opening. I would itch so much I'd tear my skin causing small rips and bleeding. My skin in that area would get dry, ashy, and flakey. My skin also peeled constantly back when it first started. Right now there is no more peeling but my skin is very thin, tight and shiny in that one spot, its also discolored a bit. I sometimes experience itching every now and then but I have to be extremely careful with my skin or I could trigger the itching again. It will not go away at all. What could this possibly be?
