I’m 22 years old and just recently got sexually active. I’ve been seeing this guy since May and we tried to have sex in June without any protection but his penis didn’t go in and I bleed just a little bit. After that week I checked my vagina and I saw this pea sized lump sticking out. But it didn’t hurt or anything, I didn’t even notice it was there. I went to the gynecologist dr said everything is normal. And then about a month ago we tried it again with a lot of lube and I lost my virginity because I bleed more then the first time but he still couldn’t manage to insert his penis in all the way. I thought there was something wrong with me. I went to the gynecologist again to make sure because sometimes that lump would get smaller and sometimes larger. She looked at it and said it’s normal to have some discoloration and also there’s extra skin in that area so that’s why it’s like that and she also recommended me to use dilators. I got the dilators that following week and I did use the smallest size without any pain. And last week I was able to have sex with him. But his penis kept coming out like 6-7 times. Everytime I tried to insert it slowly. But now I’m seeing this swollen lump again and I’m concerned that I have herpes or something. Please tell me what this is.
