Over three months ago I had a random light brown mark that appeared on my big toe. It appears like a birth mark but I’ve never had a mark like this before. It does not hurt or have any visible symptoms. Just woke up and there it was. I’m worried it could be something serious but I cannot find any information on this. Please help!

Dr's always say that if a person has any kind of mark that on their body they wasn't born with it should always be checked out by a dr or a dermatologist or even a cosmetic surgeon is always best to be safe then sorry.

If it does not itch or bleed and has a definite edge to it then it probably is just a bit of discolouration we all get as we get older. Keep an eye on it and if it doesnt get any bigger or itch or bleed then it maybe just a patch of melasma.
Is that bit of skin out in the sun a lot? Exposure to sun can cause this type of patch. Feet are often forgotten when applying sun tan lotion. Use a high SPF.
