I first noticed this a few days after rather rough sex with my boyfriend, though there's really no telling how long it's been there. It's right next to my urethra, and above my vaginal opening. It doesn't hurt, not even when touched. Despite appearances in the picture, it does not feel raised to the touch or look raised in a mirror. The first pic (where it's redder) was two days ago, and the second is today. While it looks better in the photo, it does look the same in the mirror. The only thing I know it's not is herpes- this is the only man I have ever been with, and while he has had a couple other partners, he has never had herpes, or been with anyone who has.
I should also note I am seeing my doctor this wednesday, so I'll update then! I just want some opinions as well
Looks like this is more internal then a red spot on one side. The other side look irritated also which this could be a strong sign of mild yeast infection which might need treatment before things get out of hand. Just visit the doctor soon the get a second opinion and get a cream to stop the irritation ASAP.

Just had the appointment!
Was diagnosed on the spot with a yeast infection, and was told to use the three day dose of canesten. She also took a swab of my vagina, and some urine tests to check for UTIs, as well as chlamydia and gonorrhoea. I'm still waiting on those results but she wasn't too concerned- she said she did this for everyone who has concerns
That's so good to know. If it turns out that you have any of those, shouldn't be a problem. 👍
