Hi my name is James I am 27, I recently visited the Philippines for 10 days, I went to meet a girl I have known for a while, on the 2nd day of being with her we had sex, I know she was a virgin, but being stupid i did not use any protection... so i was not worried about any STD's but on returning home i have small sores at the shaft of my penis, They don't really hurt until i touch them, if anyone knows of what this could be i would really appreciate the help.

Well if you know she was a virgin it may not be a STD. But it could be from anything a new soap or something you ate. The best thing for you is to go to the doctor and see what it is so you can get it healed you don’t want it to get worse.

bow long after coming home did these show up?
once you said philipines i immediately assumed a fungal infection. the sores look too big to be herpes and i dont believe theyre in the right spot. giving us a time like would help much more. but the redness and the swelling with no other symptoms makes me believe they are something a cream a dr could prescribe to clear it up. also james, you cant be sure she was a virgin. dont use that as a reason to not use protection. get tested and best of luck to you! i dont think you have too much to worry about in regards to herpes or hpv.
