Could be an ulcerated area. That could make your teeth ache. Have you been given anything for the tonsillitis? Try washing your mouth out with lightly salted water, making sure you swill it around the area.
Alternatively it could be an area of Thrush.
If it persists then try to contact your doctor or see a dentist when the Covid problem is over.
You should be able to buy OTC preparations for both ulcers and oral thrush,but if this is the same bug that is causing your tonsillitis then you will have to wait for both to resolve.
Did you get an antibiotic? Is it new? Can you take better picture? how old?
antibiotics=yeast?
you got white patches around… maybe lichen planus
best regards
Hi Emily, It could be thrush, or a reaction from antibiotics, yes, rinsing with 1tsp salt in 1 cup water might help (it would be weird to be from your throat infection)… It could be an abscessed tooth/teeth…you should check with a Dr or Dentist, esp. if the salt water doesn’t help & it keeps hurting…the timing could be coincidence!! Keep an eye on it…an abscessed tooth may get better for awhile with the anti-biotics, giving you time to get an appt. but, eventually it will need to be fixed!! Good Luck & BEST WISHES:wedding:![]()
