Hi. For the past year I’ve been getting rashes while on my period, and I believed it to be due to a certain brand of pads & having a heavy flow. It’s only happened 3 or 4 times throughout the only year, but the first rash was after a new sex partner. I’ve been trying not to scratch it & put hydrocortizone cream on it, which is why its blistery now. I went to the doctor today and she said it’s most likely contact dermatitis, but tested me for herpes just in case. Do you think its herpes???
It started off as bumps 2 days ago & when I scratched them it ended up like this. It only burns when I put the cream on or my thighs rub.

looks like herpes to me? try a test swab there most accurate whilst you still have your sores x
it looks like herpes to me, also since it appeared after a new partner and also many many women i know get outbreaks around their periods. im surprised your doctor didnt test you but i really tgink you should do a blood test for now (although theres a lot to know about those and how to interpret them) and two get your sores swabbed immediately the next time they appear before they dry up . i suggest looking up the herpes reddit page you will find so much good information there
although the sores look like herpes you tend to only get outbreaks on one side not both so seeing as your first image shows lots on both side I wonder if it isn’t, especially if they didn’t swab although they probably should to rule it out. see if they can swab again if they are still there
