Any idea what this is? is located on my perineum and only irritates me when i open my legs too wide. Had sex recently and none of us had any experience with herpes in the past but know its still a possibility or is it more from rough intercourse/ something else. thanks
I don’t see anything. What exactly are you referring to?
There is visible redness in the perineal area, but it is covered with discharge so it is difficult to see if it is just a kind of irritation or there is some skin damage/sores. You might want to wipe it and open the legs as you explained. It is possible that this is just a consequence of rough sex, but can also point out to some underlying conditions, like Lichen Sclerosus.
