Hi Guys, Just wanting to know what you guys have for a resting heart rate? Battling to sleep and do tasks during the day due to high heart rate in the high 80s low 90s. Is anybody else going through this and what are you taking for relief? Seems constant for me Kind regards, Mike
I have a natural fast heart rate, I could be laid in bed at night totally relaxed and it will be like 85 lol, when I’m active like walking it shoots up to 130!, I got sent to the hospital twice because of it, my doctor said a heart rate between 90-100 is natural, even though mine is high it’s not dangerously high so nothing to worry about
my heart pounds alot and normal fast yet perfectly healthy. You can take propranolol which is a beta-blocker then slows down the palpitations which mu doctor gave me
sorry 60-100 that was suppose to say
thanks for the reply Chelsea, nice one, does the medication give you any noticeable side effects? dizzyness etc?
going to the docs today so may request some.
thank you
everyone is different but for me I did get awful dizzyness which resulted me in stopping taking them
80s and 90s is perfectly normal for a heart rate. You may have a little anxiety but there’s no need to take medication for this. Unless it is super high.
theres a very short meditation on YouTube that brings down my heart breaks every time! Search for stop panic attacks now and then scroll to something called don’t panic… in black letters. Listen to this and she guides you through it. Before you know it you’re feeling 100% better!
Hi Mike
My heart rate is between 80-140bpm during the day depending on what i am doing. I have severe anxiety so this apparently is pretty normal and once I start to get over my anxiety it will get better.
I have been trying a natural methods of walking at a moderate pace for half an hour a day, eating healthy and i even have compression socks!
It has made a difference as i have been able to get my heart rate down to 72bpm when i totally take time out and relax.

Wonderful, thank you very much Jan. Went to Docs they seem to think my thyroid may be overactive so hopefully thats the cause. Just have to wait for the results. I suffered a really nasty panic attack a year a bit ago so it very well could be a few returning symptoms.
Thanks again
Thanks Abi. Glad to hear your doing alot better. Anxiety is a right pain in the butt huh. i do walking too. It certainly does make a big difference especially when your stuck in your own head.
Hopefully we all get better real soon. Keep up the good work.
