What kind of animals do u have that bring u joy each day!

I'm curious about the benefits of having a loving pet to reduce stress and for piece of mind.biggrin

I know some may be allergic to pets for one reason or another, but I would like to hear how members feel about their pets.biggrin

Animal Lover ....show me your pets... Just a Hug from them brings peace.smile

horses, dogs, cats, SEE PICS BELOW they all bring laughter & joy every day!

Its easy to enlarge the pics.  Can't wait to see yours!!!!cheesygrin

Each one has a story how they have saved me from falling or just be my legs for a day. All my beautiful furry angels r here to help us grow and live with what ever our illness. They are always by my side & always add a giggle for the day!

Hello,

Your animals look lovely. I have a dog called Dylan, he is a 3 year old Bichon Friese. He is at my side all day, when I am on the computer he sits in the chair besides me. Sorry i have not been able to upload a photo of him as I will be having a new computer soon and will do so then.. Keep well

I have an Irish Setter he is my world. We walk every day his happy face makes me smile on the hardest days. Also my two Bengals I have donkeys as well. Lots of parrots and birds. Without them my world would be unbearable.

lovely my dogs make me cross sometimes they can be a right handful .being terriers . but  without them there would be no point getting up , they have such great personalitys they make me laugh every day . there worth there weight in gold .

I lov Bochon they don't shed.. That's a big pluses. Around her there r so mant fuzz balls flying around we have given them names.

Dylan sounds like UR loyal side chair helper! Aren't they wonderful!!

Cant wait till u uplad a pic soon I hope....

dogs r the best medicine! The do the silliest things. My female sheltie Sassy would hide all the toys from the other dogs. She was the little boss dog!cheesygrin

Hi Malarose thanks for the lovely pic, Well said pets bring so much relief for those of us who have chronic pain. I had a setter when I was a child she  would pull me round on my roller states..they do always look like th have a smile on theie faces.

With bengals , donkey's mini Donky's or full grown. & birds you r a busy mom. They each love u in their own special way. UR are a animal lover and I'm happy u live where u can have as many as u want.

I used to have ducks during th summer I'd loan them out to eat the grasshoppers. They all would come home so fat their bellies were rolling them home! They keep the bugs out of the garden.. They R quick.

What king of birds besides parents ? I used to have a cockatoo .

I bet u have a few stories to share?

Peace & wellness !

Hi Tina.biggrin

I did the ouch button.. Blame of Fibro Fog!  Tina send a pic?

I think they r exactly what you wrote. U said it all for so many of us. A pet is always there for a good laugh no matter how often they find things to get into when they shouldn't.

My sis came to visit & the dogs all got into her stach of goodies in her suitcase. She got busted big time. I don't know who was more enbarrassed my sis or the dogs for eveyone got busted!. It was a mess all we did was ask ." who did this"...? They all slowly crept outa the room one by one! They went to hide. Lol .....All guilty !,,,confused

Unfortunately I only have one cat now. I lost my beloved Jess, a wonderful border collie cross, to cancer on Tuesday and my beatuiful baby cat Marvin just a few weeks ago to some kind of liver disorder and I miss them both terribly. I still have Milo, my 7 year old cat who i hope will be with me for many many more years to come. They bring me so much peace and love. Iam still going to walk my dog and hope she is with me at all times when I go to all her favourite places. I am numb after these dreadful losses and can't imagine going through this again so will not look for another pet for some time, however, if one finds me, as has often been the case, then I would never turn one away. I know that they have all had very good, loving homes with me so at least I was able to do that for them. My pain has worsened since they were taken from me, which is understandable as they made me smile so much in the face of adversity when I woke to see them snuggled up to me each morning and then coming for kisses and cuddles when they realised i was awake. I miss them more than I could put into worss. Cherish your beloved animals, they deserve your love so much and we are priviledged to know them and have them in our lives xx

i know that one.

my little terier gets in my window of the back of my chair i stop him in the day but at night he does it  this morning his wrecked my vertical blinds .i am hoping they can be fixed because they were expensive,

but i am the silly one all i needed to do is pull out the chair away from the window before i go to bed . . so thats got that sorted from now on .

he has got an igloo bed and he rolls it a round the floor until he gets tired then sleeps in it usley up side down .

he chases his tail and bites it silly bugger dosent seem to know it belongs to him . and when his had a drink theres allways water in his beard under his chin a laugh a minute

his so funny .

Shazzy,

I am so sorry for your loss. It leaves a empty place in our hearts. Our pets  have been so much of our lives.I have lost many over the years it never gets any easier. I make a memory stepping stone for each in the garden .

I hope some day u will fill the void with some thing very special. Healing prayers sent UR way.

Thank you x .they are in the garden with one of my other cats who died a few years ago. Cant believe we had to dig two graves within such a short space of time. Meggi has a red rose bush, Marvin white (he was the baby, only 21 months old and the most loving cat I have ever known, he constantly pushed his head to my lips for kisses and sleptsnuggled into my neck) and Jess will have yellow, as soon as I can face it x

Shazzy.

Take UR time when UR reagy with yellow roses to plant then it's ok . The roses over each of them is a lovely idea. And a beautiful reminder when in bloom how much they meant to you! What a sweet memory.

Hope you r better soon. (( hugs)) HOPE

Thank you so much x

Hi, for me it's my cats. Stroking them really calms me and when I enter a room and find them sleeping somewhere it makes me not so lonely during the daytime.

I can't walk far enough to have a dog, but I must admit the poop-a-scooping has never been my thing either.  However, I love to stroke and make a fuss of a dog when I'm out. xxx

 Julie,

Pretty kitty she looks very curious....

KOOL KAT, she's lookin like she's grinning for the camara.

I agree...Cats really are so calmng. Especially when we get stressed.

Cat boxes r not my thing either. Well u know the old saying..." Cats have staff".... And ...."Dogs have friend"s! Lol

No, not a cat box person either! That's what the cat flap is for (unfortunatley that's also for the dead mice and live mice toobiggrin

We have all sorts of parrots, and chooks also gold fish in the pond so a regular menagerie. Love animals they don't hurt  you like so many people do. There loyalty is amazing.
