I have what is apparently anxiety and have tried lorazepam, diazepam and propanolol all with no real avail. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning but was wondering what meds and dosages you are all on. I'm struggling with the physical symptoms (constant faint feeling, cant go anywhere busy, cant go in shops or cafes for example, dizziness and insomnia) thanks x
hi im on 40 mg propanol x3 a day a use take 20 x 3 and i have carbamazpine and venlafaxine aswell i thought my palpations wud go but never did so i was so delighted when my dr said i put ur dosage up but still 3 weeks later no luck im gutted i get fusrated with my palpations feeling sick i hate feeling like this
I take 10 mg lexapro at dinner time. I take ativan 1 mg 3 x a day and propranolol 20 mg twice a day.. I feel so much better.. have you been checked for migraines or inner ear problems?
Citalopram 10mg my panic attacks have gone recommend it to your go
Propranolol does nothing for the mind just slows your heart
Rate down I didn't get on with it citalopram has worked well for me
i thought citalapram was depression tablet not anxity? 
No it's for both my doctor put me on it for anxiety it's used for panic disorders to and it's stopped my panic attacks Google it

Ok it's helped me come a long way I can now go out without freaking out
My GP put me on Citalopram for Anxiety and panic attacks and i have had no panic attacks since, still have some anxiety but it's easier to cope with.I am on 10mg thou i did start on 20mg.
yeah im on 10 mg at the moment been on them for 5 weeks today and seen big difference had a few side effects like headaches but its starting to ease up
