I had Aquablation surgery on Thursday and other than the prescribed antibiotic, no medication. The pain on frequent peeing has kept me from driving, except to pick up my antibiotic which the local pharmacy wouldn't deliver. Today, Monday (Memorial Day) and after reading some helpful posts here, I finally took two Tylenol Rapid Release gelcaps. Hope they will ease the pain. The Foley will be removed mid day on tomorrow.
AZO (phenazopyridine) is pretty effective. You can get it from your pharmacy in the US over the counter or from AMazon if outside the US. it is a bladder anaesthetic but will turn your urine bright orange.
