A bump has appeared about 3 weeks ago below my lower eyelid after applying a cream to that area. It was itchy and a little bit red. It's still itchy sometimes and has doubled it's size during this period. It doesn't feel hard and there's no white spot in the middle or anything like that. I tried to drag/copy images here, but somehow they don't appear, so I'll try to describe it: This bump is about 1cm below lower eyelid, it has an oval shape, it's about 8mm in diameter and the color is almost normal skin color.
If this appeared after the application of a cream and continues to itch, I think it is most likely an allergic reaction.
I just don’t know why it is increasing in size. If you haven’t already done so, stop using the cream and try to keep the area clean.
In any case, a visit to the dermatologist would be a good idea.
Yes, I haven’t used that cream since. Today I went to my GP, he didn’t know what it is either. Gave me steroid cream to see if that helps after a week, if not, he will probably send me to dermatologist.
