I suffered bartholin abscess three times and then a doctor suggested me to wait for it drain out and then get a surgery done (in which she will be reopening the blockage in bartholin gland), now i have nothing down there but i think i should get the surgery done before it comes up again and now i have one doubt in mind another doctor suggested me to remove the barthilon gland itself. what shall i go for removing the gland or reopening the blockage?? can anyone please help, i am going for the surgery tomorrow.
I had the excision several years ago and it was the best decision I ever made. Just make sure whoever is doing your surgery has practice and knows what they're doing.
