What should I do? I've had complications for so many days now..

Towards the end of the week last week, I began having chest problems. At first, I wrote them off as nothing serious. Then on Friday morning, I literally felt like I was going to pass out from the chest pain and burning. I soon reached out to my mother so that she could drive me to the doctor. As I waited, I had a friend to keep me company. Once she came home, we went to the doctor, they did a normal check up, etc. Then the actual doctor came in and asked me what was wrong. I told him about my chest pain/heartburn and how my stomach began hurting a week prior to that after eating McDonald's. He told me whether the pain was sharp or dull, told him they were sharp. Then he came to the conclusion that it was acid reflux. He prescribed me some omeprazole before I left. Started taking the medications and they really didn't work at first, it is day 4 or 5 of taking the meds so far. I felt really good this morning, and as the day went on, I felt bad again. I haven't ate very good since I was diagnosed and practically starve most days now since anything I even touch makes me hurt so bad. And a few days ago, my chest hurt so bad that I had to go to the ER, and they told me the exact same thing and gave me more tests. Then on top of my Omeprazole, I was prescribed some Carafate. I have to take both for 14 days. I'm just at a loss, I don't know what to do. I have never dealt with anything this painful in my life. I'm only 18 and I have so many things I really want and need to do.. I was doing driving lessons with my mom and now I can't even drive with her without hurting really bad..
