Just curious doctor told me 3 days ago I have gh but I've got to go and have blood test to confirm it..has anyone had this and it's come back negative I'm so confused with everything and I don't have anyone to talk to
Doctor suspects it to be gh so therefore blood test will confirm it. If it comes negative doc suspects is not right. That's all

If the doctor's diagnosis was strictly visual, then there's always a chance it's not correct, but don't rest your hopes on that. Did he swab your outbreak, because if not and you still have open lesions, go back and insist that he swab and type them.
The blood tests won't tell you anything much unless this is an existing infection. The IgG antibody test has a 3+ month testing window, so will be negative before then (first month in particular) if this is a new HSV or non-HSV infection, while the IgM antibody test is so unreliable and inaccurate for herpes it should never be done, but many doctors and clinics still wrongly order it.
