Whatever I eat (or not) I'm bloated and I gain weight easily...

I'm at my wits end. I don't know what to eat anymore. The supposedly good stuff is "killing" me. I get so bloated I want to burst. But the bad stuff 5 like white bread or wheat bran, potatoes, pasta ... I can tolerate. I cannot eat broccoli, cauliflower, kale, cabbage... beans, peas, lentils... rye, oats, brown rice... quinoa, buckwheat., corn, volkorn breads... Due to my Hashimoto's I should avoid soy, grapefruit, tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, eggplant, mushrooms... What makes me bloated is eggplant and peppers. Because I have Ankylosing spondylitis I should avoid at all cost starch, but fructose in ripe fruit is ok. Except that I can't eat it because I'm close to having insulin resistance - results are ok, but I have the symptoms. I used to tolerate well watermelons and cucumbers, but now they too make me bloated. And so do pumpkins and squashes. Any ideas what ELSE may be wrong with my body? I'm now 43, but I've had these food issues for at least 15 years. Whenever I see a specialist he or she concentrates on their field of interest and give me advice accordingly and NOBODY, apart from my gyno, takes into account that I cannot digest food they urge me to eat. She was the first one to mention avoiding foods with high levels of sulfur. When I saw a Gastroenterology specialist, he did a gastroscopy and said I was fine. I easily get constipated if I don't eat wheat bran. Chia seeds and psilium make me bloated too. Thank you!

You know your body better than any doctor out there.

Eat what suits you, and avoid what doesn’t.

No rocket science involved.

Eat small meals multiple times a day.

You should exercise ( walk for an hour daily).

I tell you, there’s nothing better than an active lifestyle.
