So i've been suffering quite a while with anxiety attacks and i think its been causing me to have stomach issues then leads to more anxiety attacks which makes me very anxious to leave the house to even walk my dog!! Im going to docs on Monday to talk about this but i have a feeling that they will just give me some anti depressant and send me on my way. I tried sertraline but that made me feel really bad so stopped them, i know they can make u feel worse before getting better but i really cant cope with the bad side effects. Is their anything else i can take? any advice is really appreciated, xxx
I’ve had crazy success with cbd!
Hi
I would say to you don’t jump the gun wait until you see the doctor because you may add the wrong medication.
I know medication can be trial and error we all have to go through the same until our body say’s thats the one for me.
Try and be patient.

whats cbd?
it comes in many forms but I use an oil tincture. placed under my tongue every day. it’s actually oil from the hemp plant that has many uses. helps with pain, anxiety, PTSD, adhd the list is endless… I give it to my 14 year old daily as well. I’m not sure if I can post websites here for you to research more info.
Hi ,would you please PM me the name of the CBD your taking, I am housebound with anxiety, could do with your help..xx
absolutely
I take fluoxetine. Its one of the few ad medicine that isnt addictive and thats why I started with this one. Maybe it will help you;)
hi. i have health anxiety and GAD. currently on highest dose of sertraline along with diazepam and propranolol when needed. seems to help take the edge off for me but i am also in therapy which helps alot with knowing how to bring my anxiety down to a “treatable” level.
i also have friends that are taking citalopram for anxiety with good experiences, ive never tried it got anxiety but my friends seem to be doing well with it.
obviously beta-blockers may be an option (thaya what my propranolol medication is though i have to take 60mg to get any releif at all)
also mindfullness exercises may help, cbt ect if you want to try other means than meds.
its trial and error to find what works for you.
if sertraline gave you some releif but side affects were too overwhelming to continue- depending on your side effectts, there may be somethingg the dr can give you to counteract the SE.
