Hi there,
Basically, for the past couple years I have felt unwell pretty much all of the time, with the following symptoms (probably more, but these are the main things):
Headaches, sometimes so severe that they lead to vomiting. They tend to last for a really long time and don't often improve with paracetamol.
Pretty intense body aches that seem to have no obvious cause (i.e. from exercise) and leave me pretty much bed-bound all day.
'Hot flashes' where I literally become drenched in sweat and feel very lightheaded.
Increased heart rate (usually 65-75bpm resting, but has been up to 126bpm so far and thats's while resting) that usually lasts about 30 minutes at a time but has persisted for upwards of 3 hours before. It makes me feel very nauseous and on a couple occasions I have vomited.
Sometimes the tiniest amount of exertion, even just taking the bins out, makes me sweaty, dizzy and breathless. This often happens when I'm walking and makes me feel really lightheaded.
I generally feel exhausted most of the time. I don't tend to sleep well which makes it worse, but even when I'm well-rested I physically feel exhausted and need to nap during the day.
Of course, I have visited my GP about this but thus far they haven't been able to figure out what it is (and honestly, they don't seem to care). All bloods have came back fine except for my levels of alkaline phosphatase and albumin in my liver, which are elevated (though not extraordinarily) and appear to be increasing. My doctor doesn't seem very concerned about this, as my levels of vitamin D etc. are all very good so it doesn't look deficiency related. My doctor really doesn't seem concerned at all, but I'm struggling feeling ill so much of the time, and at 20 years old I don't think this is normal.
Just wanted to know if a anyone has any ideas about my symptoms, or if anyone has experienced anything similar.
Thanks!
