When can I use tampon?

8 weeks post cystocele op and have had a variety of answers to when i can use tampons.......from 8 weeks to 5 months. Anyone got any advice on this cause i hate pads and want to get a little bit of normality back. thank you......you are always such a helpful bunch. xx

I dont have that problem as I’m age 51 but I’ve had the surgery and I would definitely not want anything in my vsg for at least 6 mths.
I’d want to make sure all the internal stitches are healed. I’d speak to your consultant and make yiur choice.x
