Hi Everyone,  

I am not able to post anymore on the When do you know. Citralopram isn't work... so I have started a new one with the same title.  I can post on the other threads so I think it's because this one is taking so long now in loading and I can only PM from it.  

Does anyone mind if we start a new thread When do you know. if Citalopram isn't working. #2.

Hi Lois,  

I'm able to post and no trouble accessing the thread yay! 

Not doing so good today Lois, I had a good appt. with the  psych. yesterday but seem to be having a blip.  I was worried all week that she wanted me to take an intense therapy course but I don't have the stamina or focus right now. Anyway, she didn't even mention it so I think she knows I'm not in a good place.

I was irritated this morning and down but just now not as bad.  I keep forgetting that it could be a blip. Makes us feel so miserable.  Just read some of the cit guide and feel like curling up today.  Weather isn't very nice either.  Hope you are doing well.

I'm doing ok.monday I had a blip from dentist appointment..but all resolve now..had a horrible headache.the weird ones..but fine now.take care jo.praying for your recovery..

Yes Lois,  I keep forgetting that a simple thing can trigger it so maybe that's why I'm having a bad day because I've been pretty stressed out all week. take care too

Hi Lois,

I'm wondering what you mean by the weird ones when you say headache.  Just curious I know we both get that anxiety when going to the dr.  Sounds like anxiety stress in your case. So nice to be able to post again.... :D

The headaches that move around your head from the back to the temples to the top of head.just strange.and they always happened when I'm stress with anxiety from DC.appointments bad news from friends and family.they use to be severe .but now they only last minutes...thank goodness for celexa.

Yes Lois, I think we all have an achilles heel for stress - it usually goes to the same place.  Glad you're feeling better.  What's it like in Chile. Do you live out of a hotel or an apt.

I think Kate said that others have had problems on the first When do you know.... It was taking forever to load and I could not reply to anyone who posted unless I send a pm. First thought it was my computer but tried a different one and the same problem.  Now it's easy breezy.  

Does it get hotter than in Florida in Chile

Hi guys I’ve just started citalapram and been on 20mg for 3 weeks haven’t felt any better. I straight swapped from fluoxetine 20mg and feel sick all the time shaky worried hot and sweaty and have bad thoughts anyone had the same or have any advice please

I sometimes get a little heady like the fog brain but not that much. What were your worst symptoms when you were at your worst on Cit.

Irratibility /paresthesia on my scalp/heart palpitations/insomnia/mood swings from minute to minute.one minute sad one minute happy one minute crying..the list is long..but those where the worst ones.

I can relate to some of them. i had to look up paresthesia - not sure if I had that. I get a little anxiety in my arms and lower legs but the cit seems to have taken care of that. Only when i'm really anxious do I feel the sensation slightly. I get a few mood swings sometimes justified sometimes just a grumpy mood. I haven't had much of the happy - I seem to have a bit of a depression just now - I remember Kate saying she had it for a long time the second time she went on it. Said she sighed a lot. All sorts of things happen with this.

Yes I still get my blips ..and the depression stuck around for a while ..I developed depression from the anxiety..they go hand in hand..when I was very depressed from anxiety I force my self to go to gym or just walk to grocery store .which I was terrified of..I never suffered from depression ..just anxiety.and ssris are famous for bringing out the worst side effects.
