ok, so I'm 8.1 weeks post op A&P repair, being doing as I'm told ...well most of the time... Hubby is asking when its "safe", he's quite anxious, as am I.  So I was wondering if anyone was willing to share how long before they resumed their sex life ? Don't want to risk hurting myself, let alone hurting him.....but hey....a girl has needs right?!?!?!?!?

Anytime now amchatt as long as you are comfortable with that. He will have to be very gentle to begin with and it may be as well to use some lubricant x

Its like starting all over again, very nervous and anxious, don't think I felt this concerned even after having my 2 kids, Really think these health care prefessionals should prepare us better before and after these operations!!

Some ladies said the coconut oil is a very good natural lubricant and I must admit that.

I feel the same once I'm past 6 weeks I no I'm going to worry, I've already thought what if it damages scars or what if it tears them or me outside ? will it feel different ?

And I've searched the Internet and can't find a thing on it which is really disappointing as it's all health related and mentally it affects us woman quite a lot doesn't it :-(

I hope someone does comment that's 'been there done that'

I think the trick is to go slow, take it easy and don't expect too much at first! My daugher (who's 22) jokes that I've got a designer vagina.....I wish!!! More like a Primark one last tiem I looked x

Bit jel tbh as I'm same timescale post op A&P as you.... I'm still really sore and having discharge so just could not face it yet.....

Well ladies, without giving too much away.....everything still works!!! 

Tiny bit uncomfortable for me at first but no probs for hubby.....woop woop!!😍😳👏🏻👌🏼
