When might i start cycling?

im wondering when anyboday has started to cycle after thr?

im approaching 6weeks, post op.

keen to be back in a saddle, but only if its safe.

Anterior 3/15. Therapy had me on a stationary bike week 2....so progressed since then riding bike on my own. Check w your surgeon is best

TGB, I am eight weeks post op and immediately began using a stationary bike after the doctor released me from most post op restrictions. The doctor advised against street biking due to risk of falling and dislocating the new hip. Best wishes for a speedy recover to full mobility.

I was told a minimum of 12 weeks - I gently started after about 16 weeks - in London, on 'Boris Bikes' (hire bikes).
