I have had pretty severe itching on the insides of my outer labia for the last few days. I tried to self examine and felt a small, painful bump where the itching is most prevalent on one side (although I couldn't actually see it, there is redness in the area) and on the other side can see a tiny patch that is red and shiny like a healing scab (also very itchy). I've never had penetrative sex, but received unprotected oral from a guy about 3 weeks ago. I don't know if I'm just being paranoid, but I'm a little worried I might have gotten something from that. Should I get an STI check based on this?
I'd get tested just to make sure
What you have described does not warrant a full STI check, but you may wish to see a doctor for the itching. Could be yeast or similar. Unlikely to be herpes based on what you've described.
