When to take sertraline

Hello everyone, as I'm new to taking sertraline and have just gone onto 50mg after a week of 25mg, can I ask what time of day you take your medication? Took it this morning and had a fuzzy head so wondering g if taking at bed time is better? Thank you

Hi Anne I was the same when I first starting taking 25 mg I changed mine to taking it just before I go to sleep this works better for me x

I take mine at night time with my evening meal.

Yeah definely best, I am currently off work at the moment, prob be back next week too. Let me know how u get on. Are u having side effects?

Just the fuzzy head luckily although I did think I was suffering from nausea but that turned out to be a bug, didn't help as I couldn't take a tablet for 1 day, fingers crossed I will no other symptoms although I'm only 8 days in. Hope you're return to work goes well next week x

You are one of the lucky ones that don't get many side effects. Hope your return to work goes well too.

Hi Hun....I used to take mine in the mornings but was suffering from too may side affects so switched to taking it with my evening dinner around 19.00 and feel much better... Still feel tired and a bit dizzy but no where near as bad... Good luck...x

I'm going to changed to evenings tomorrow to make my tablets, thanks for your advice; I'm new on here and everyone is so helpful x
