Hello All,
I’ve been completely off of Mirtazapine for over 2 weeks now. (You can find more details on my previous post.) I find I have hit or miss days—some days I feel fine for most of the day, others I feel very fatigued, headachey, and dizzy. When I have these feelings, it is hard to do much of anything, including simply watching TV for example. Could anyone that had similar symptoms speak to how long it took for them to go away? Thanks so much.
I know how you feel, I havent been completely off might but when I cut down I felt the same, or even now when I go on an alcohol binge and forget to take it dizziness and eyesight are the big ones for me, all I can suggest is patience. When your coming off meds it can take a week or two for your body to adjust
Hi .Been off mirt for 7months and havie only recently started to get dull headaches and dizziness.also still get fatigue etc .Have you had any other symptoms?
Hi Jeff
I have just managed to stop after 3 years of taking it. Been off for nearly 2 weeks, today is the worst I’ve felt. Racing heart, shaky, cant focus on anything and bad headache. Just hoping it eases soon as I have vowed to never to take anymore of this drug again.
I managed to stop taking this before but ended back on them, the withdrawal effects were the same. It took nearly a month for them to subside. I found it best to sleep and listen to music rather than try and focus on anything. Doctor may give you diazepam for a couple of weeks whilst coming off, It may help settle things down a bit.
