When?!

Hi everyone I'm three weeks in...(vertical scar)...

can those who are further in please say when they started back running/spinning/whatever...

right how I couldn't even consider contemplating what a crunch would be like...

frustrated of Hinckley!!!!!

Fi xx

Well I started walking for about 10 mins up the road after two weeks then after 8 weeks I could start running again

I started running normal activity after 8 weeks

Haha you sound as frustrated as me I'm 5 weeks in, vertical scar the same. It sounds to me as you was as active as I before the op.

We need to be patient we only have one chance to heal properly so let's do that aye, if we don't we could cause all kinds of problems in the future, which could mean more surgery and longer recovery.

im just as frustrated as you are Hun but we can do this xx

That's so true Annemarie Marie patience and time

12 weeks since mine, also vertical scar. 6 weeks after op the dragging feeling from the scar when I walked any distance got better, now almost forgotten the feeling. Just a bit more patience required... you'll get there.

That's really great to know Caroline...just feel like a nuisance being waited on and need to feel that pumping in my heart!! And as for these gorgeous decompression socks!!!!!

and thanks Annemarie too...it really is one chance...suppose should just "enjoy" the downtime...WE CAN DO THIS!!

Fab!!! Are you back to full sports now?!x

i know that dragging and it also "presses" me when having a pee...did you find that?

Hey! I've messaged but I think I've sent it to Caroline!

hope you're feeling fine today

As much as I ever was.. walked 15 miles over the weekend and now no worries about bursting when I do sit ups, Feels strong, I am grateful to the surgeon as my partner had abdominal surgery last year and now has an incisional hernia- I think it's more common in men, though, and obviously he didn't have a hysterectomy, but has been interesting to compare healing, Strangely, I can feel pulling in my scar when I do pelvic floor exercises- no pain or problems, just a new sensation, I guess similar to what you feel when having a pee! Overall, would swap it any day for the problems before the op.x

Thats true I can walk over the Malvern no problem I still feel the switches after 4 months but I guess it's time

VERY inspiring

thanks so much...will look forward to that day x

Yikes!? Really? Do you mean a bit like how when I sneeze??

Hope that's not sarcasm!- the day will be sooner than you imagine.x

That women coming from texts wow

Hi! No...no way! its hope in my exclamation

Thats good then last few days my side effects have gone fantastic

That's THE best news...

Did you have any "spotting" throughout? i seem to be fine laying down...the minute i sit for any length of time it starts again...i cant work out if it would be coming anyway so better to stand/sit OR if i'm aggravating something so making it happen...

No has had hysterectomy sometimes I have to lie down as I get a wholly feeling
