Where did Karen?

I was on this forum with a girl names Karen who asked me to let her know how the Mirtzapline was working with me.... ?!?!?

I'm curious to know of your experiences on Mirtazapine as well. Would you care to share?

Hi Boing333,

I've been on them now about a week - 7.5mgs to start with then up to 15 mgs after weeks. No side effects yet - but, it does help you sleep!

I was on Citalopram and Steroline but both of those made me bounce of walls the next day so I came off of them.

The Mirtz seems to help me.

What are you taking (if any anything?)

Zoe x

I don't take anything, Zoe. I ask because I took Mirtazapine in the past (one of the A to Z of different medications I've been on, actually)

It helped with sleep but that was about it. Initially they started me off by telling me it would be a 6-month course of treatment but those 6 months became 5 1/2 years of pharmacological torture. I've always found the longer you take medication, the worse and more detrimental it's effects.

I was fortunate enough in that I managed to get off it before it completely killed my mind, but not lucky enough to remember who I was before I took it.

I wish you all the best with it. Send a message if you want any tips or advice on dealing with side effects, if you get any smile

Thanks Boing. x

Hi Zoe, there's a mirtazapine discussion group and a lady named Karen has been posting in it. I've been on mirtazapine since Monday and wanted to know people's experiences and it's all posted in there. Good luck smile

Hi Zoe, Im sorry have been having a rough time so havent wanted to talk, if you know what I mean. I am glad to hear that you seem to be getting on ok with your new tablets. I have felt completely numb lately and I dont know if it is my Prozac as I have been back on them 4wks.
