Hello ladies, just keep seeing rave reviews of double base but wondered how you use it and which is best? Many thanks

Reading what the NHS has on its site, it sounds like a version of Vaseline to me.

'liquid paraffin and isopropyl myristate'

I prefer vegetable oil-based ointments and creams.

My gyneocologist suggested i use this for cleaning vaginal area

I have been using it for three months now and find it very soothing

I receive this on prescription but can be purchased at chemist

And it can be used on children oldies like me and young adults

It keeps the itch at bay from the LS

You can also use it as a body wash. And face cream

On the container it says it is a moisturising hydrating gel

And says can be used on skin conditions that itch or are inflamed

I would recommend it

I also use it to wipe across vagina after going to toilet every time I go

I use Hydramol to wash down below just put some warm water in the sink and scoop some of this ointment onto your fingers and moisten with the water and as you wash your private parts it goes all creamy and soft so nice. After I have dried I then apply more before putting on my knickers. Give it a try I suffered for 12 years before finding out what I had .
