Hi, I've been talking Local HRT for Atrophic Vagititis for 6 days. This morning after I found a white discharge in my pants about an hour or two after inserting the tablet. Could this mean I have not inserted it properly and it has dissolved and came out or is this normal. Have reread the information leaflet and can't find anything relating to this.
Surely you were instructed to swallow the tablets. I have never heard of this methed of taking HRT! I MAYBE WRONG.
Hi, thanks for replying, no, you do not swallow these tablets you insert the tablets as you would a
pessary.
Is the hrt to help for dryness in your vagina? I have heard of this. Unless you've been instructed otherwise, I would insert the pessary before bed and then it has more chance of staying there and being absorbed. But as it's to help produce moisture you may have more of your natural discharge. Good luck
Hi Maisie05, yes the Pessary pill is for vaginal dryness and it's called Vagifem. When you insert it it's supposed to stick to the vaginal wall and not come out that's why I was a bit worried that it did. That is a good idea to maybe change the time I put it in as you can do it at a time it suits you . Thank you for your suggestion.
