White foreskin lesion: possible lichen sclerosus?

I've had this white lesion on the inside of my foreskin for a couple of months now. It's not painful or tight, and at the very most it's occasionally very slightly itchy. It doesn't scrub off. The texture is slightly rougher than the surrounding skin. Having done some reading about penile disorders, I'm worried this could be lichen sclerosus, but it seems slightly different from the pictures I've seen online (which seem to involve bright white rings of skin around the tip of the foreskin, not on the absolute inside of it like this. I'm going to see my doctor soon, but any advice would be appreciated until then. These two pictures were taken a month apart. I am mid-20s, use only water when washing it, and am sexually active.

Bump – would really appreciate some help on this!

Just spoken to my doctor, and they think it’s more likely to be lichen planus. But I’ve got to go and get a second opinion from a specialist. Do other people think LP is the more likely thing here? It seems too white to be planus.

Hello, I am a Lichen Lichen Sclerosus (LS) sufferer myself, and this is what has led me to be involved in this Forum for the last 2 years or so.
I agree with your suggestion that this is more likely LS rather than Planus as there is no characteristic of the white skin with Planus.
You will need a skin Biopsy to prove whichever of the skin diseases this actually is as this then determines the strength of Topical Steroid ointment that you will be prescribed.
When is your appointment with the specialist likely to take place?
If you want to do your own little test apply some skin cream or baby oil for several days and see if the lesion reacts to this - I would suggest LS would always react adversely,
If you want to reduce the lesion from developing further after this then simply ensure you wash your penis with water only and ensure ALL traces of moisture are completely removed. If you are sexually active, use condoms or Lube of any kind, or apply anything to your penis for masturbation then this will make the lesion worse (in time)
