White lumps on upper gums inside lips

Above the tooth line near my canine teeth i noticed today some raised areas while licking my tongue around my mouth. Upon looking in a mirror i saw there were a few heavy white coated lumps/blisters there, when i wiped hard the White came off and left a redness with some blood spots. This area isnt sore and is not causing any discomfort. Could this be herpes or a candida/thrush infection. I have tried taking a photo but its in a difficult place. Should i see my GP or dentist. Thanks

sounds like yeast oral thrush

a doctor and dentist can treat it

Im so paranoid its something bad, would it be painful if it was herpes, also do i need to steer myself away from the herpes thought as im causing so much stress.

So it may be Yeast/thrush infection?

Really appreciate your swift reply.

it dosnt sound like herpes

Staph infection ?

would it be painful? my lips are also always cracking and im getting continued chapped lips with peeling skin also. is this the symptoms? should i see gp asap?

u need to see a doctor its oral thrush by the sound of it an will need treating

can you see the white spots there, it is the best pic i can get, again there is no pain there i will see if i can get to the doctor soon.

I would advise you to keep your fingers out of your mouth and gargle some Listerine, or a 50/50 mix of hydrogen peroxide mixed with water. Then see your doctor.

Is there anything you think it could be?

My guess would be just that; a guess. It could be a dental cyst. The photo in the link is of a dental cyst.
