Dear matt,
Before these pale patches started, did you apply any strong creams or chemicals to the penis?
If you didn’t and the depigmentation started without warning, then it’s likely to be vitiligo. A good source of information and treatment options can be found on DermnetNZ. You may need to see your doctor to confirm the diagnosis and get some blood tests as vitiligo can sometimes be associated with diabetes and thyroid disease.
Rgds,
Adhari.
I never applied any strong creams or chemicals. These patches are also a bit dry not flaky or anything. Can this be just penile vitiligo? Thyroid kind of runs in the family
In that case vitiligo is the most likely diagnosis. Getting some bloods done to check for diabetes or thyroid problems would be sensible once lockdown restrictions are lifted.

Adhari
Alright Thanks, I’ll get blood tests done. also can it be chemical leukoderma? due to any latex allergy.
TBH, I’ve never see a case of latex allergy so extreme as to lead to depigmentation! The makers of condoms would be very worried if they knew that their products were causing this sort of extreme reaction.
