Hi. Almost a month ago I noticed that I had a penile discoloration on my penis shaft (Images 1 and 2 - I tried to circulate the area affected). Is very subtle on the images, but enough to recognize on camera and on naked eye. Doesn’t bother me in any way as it is not dry, nor scaly, nor painful, nor itchy, only bothers me in a psychological way as I always tend to think the worse.
I’ve been to an online GP (due to pandemic) he diagnosed as some sort of fungus and recommended Daktacort for 2 weeks.** I’ve tried that and didn’t resolve the issue nor worsened it.**
Then I went to an Onsite GP which also thought it could be some sort of fungus and recommended Canesten HC for 1 week. I’ve tried that and didn’t resolve the issue nor worsened it.
I’m not sure what this could be, he also used a swab to send to a lab and check which and if it’s fungal but he said probably will return negative because is not scaly, nor wet, nor moist.
I forgot to mention to him that one of my ex’s had High Risk HPV diagnosed after an exam, and when she told me a few years later, I did a few exams and they were positive for HPV but the last one the count was very minimal. He said that it would go away on it’s own and even recommended me Imiquimod to kill all cells and speed up the healing process even though I had no symptoms or any visual changes on penis. I’ve never had any sort of moles or warts as this was a high risk HPV not a low risk. Neverthless, he told me to check for any changes on penis like color changes or anything like that because it could be a sign of return or something. I’m worried it could be the latter and start of something.
