long story short, had surgery and they found inflammation in my bowel. Hopefully having a colonoscopy in 11 days if corona does not affect my hospital appointment but they suspect chrons but we arent sure yet until diagnosis. I noticed that after I pass stool, a few noticeable drips of a white discharge drops into the toilet. I feel it run down my bottom and drop in and can see it quite clearly in the toilet. It is a solid white and runny. Does anyone know what that is please?

take care.
yes, agree, hopefully you will have answers after the test, also don’t be discourages as today they have better medications for crones if you do have it. I had a friend whom lived to a ripe old age with it, granted he had some miserable times but his lifespan was good and now the meds are much better. Hang in there. good luck on a diagnosis. And yes, let us know the answer too.
White runny discharge could be mucus which is not detrimental.
In fact, a healthy human being shed 250 grams of mucus each day in the stool.
This is for regeneration purpose of mucosal lining of our gastrointestinal tract.
